The University offers very generous family leave and pay to employees. The detail of the family leave schemes can seem quite daunting to begin with, but we have tried to give clear explanations procedures so you can easily understand the benefits to which you are entitled.
If you are a parent, or are expecting to be a parent, it is really important that you read all the guidance relating to the type of leave you wish to take.
This guidance reflects changes in legislation and University policy and supersedes any previous versions, and we have taken care to make it accurate and reliable. However, in the case of any conflict, the statutory and legal provisions as they relate to the issue in question will prevail.
