Work + Family Space service closes to staff on 31 October 2024

The Work + Family Space service (formerly My Family Care) will close to University employees on 31 October 2024. This includes the ‘Speak to an Expert’ phoneline and Work + Family Space email bulletins.

This service has had a relatively low take-up in recent years and the benefits offered to employees have been downgraded over time.

The service has been replaced in part by Health Assured; the University’s Employee Assistance Programme. Staff can also access support offered by:

• the University's staff wellbeing programme, Thriving at Oxford (being developed further following outcomes of the Pay & Conditions review);
• the Occupational Health Service; and
• peer support via Teams channels for staff with caring responsibilities and working parents at Oxford

References to the Work+Family Service will be removed from central University webpages, recruitment templates and contracts in due course.

Divisions and departments are asked to check local websites, locally held templates and induction materials to ensure that references are removed by 31 October 2024.
