As announced by Patrick Grant on 10 June, following an initial pilot of the Return to On-site Working (RTOSW) programme in May, the university is now progressively extending the programme to a number of other lab-based buildings and library buildings over the next 6-8 weeks, in order to ensure a measured, phased, and safe return to on-site working in University buildings for activity that cannot be performed by working remotely.
To support this activity, new guidance for managers on the RTOSW arrangements is now available. Further guidance is now published on the RTOSW hub webpage including guidance for re-opening buildings and risk-assessment/social distancing, guidance for staff and template documents for departments to adapt to local circumstances. Specimen documentation and case studies will be brought together on SharePoint as the RTOSW programme progresses.
