Free subscriptions to the Economist, Financial Times and Times Higher Education

Find out how to access your free subscriptions

Staff can register for free subscriptions to the Economist, Financial Times (FT) and Times Higher Education (THE).

These subscriptions are purchased and licenced for you by Bodleian Libraries.

Follow the steps below to gain free access.

  • Visit The Economist website using this link
  • Enter your Oxford email address
  • Find your institution and sign in with Single Sign-On
  • Complete your account details

  • Visit the Financial Times website using this link
  • Please register on the FT.com website using your college or departmental email address. This should end, for example, @keble.ox.ac.uk or @politics.ox.ac.uk (not simply @ox.ac.uk)
  • Enter the verification code (sent by email)
  • Complete your account details

  • Visit the Times Higher Education website using this link
  • Click on the icon circled and select 'Register' from the dropdown menu. 
  • Complete your account details using your Oxford email address. This should end, for example, @keble.ox.ac.uk or @politics.ox.ac.uk (not simply @ox.ac.uk)
