The University of Oxford Additional Paternity/Partner Leave (OUAPPL) scheme is now live.
New fathers/partners of new mothers of babies due, born or children placed for adoption on or after 31 January 2025 will qualify for up to 10 additional weeks leave, to supplement the Statutory Paternity Leave of two weeks. Transitional arrangements are in place for those who are recent new fathers/parents and these are explained in the web guidance.
The Paternity leave website has been updated, to incorporate updated guidance on the 2 week Statutory Paternity Leave (SPL) and a new page on the new Oxford University Additional Paternity/Partner Leave (OUAPPL). Read the guidance on Paternity leave schemes.
